Women Singing OUT! begins weekly rehearsals for their 10th Anniversary concert season on Wednesday, September 10th from 7 to 9 pm at Christ Episcopal Church, 1035 Lafayette Road in Portsmouth , NH . This season’s winter concert -- January 24 and 25, 2009 -- will be somewhat of a departure from their usual fare and will feature Broadway Musical selections. All-time favorites from the last nine years, voted on by chorus-members, will be the high point of the spring concert in mid May. WSO! now seeks new chorus members to lend their voices, and “non-singing members” to help with production, marketing, and concert day duties.

WSO! is a lesbian-based community chorus welcoming all women who love music. Led by Artistic Director, Claudia Frost, their goal is to promote positive change through music and visibility. Prospective members are invited to come to a rehearsal and witness the fun and enthusiasm for themselves. No auditions are required, although singers must be able to match pitch.
