Artistic Director
Artistic Director & Conductor Claudia Frost joined us in February 2005, bringing her many years of vocalist and conducting experience to her role as Artistic Director of WSO. She also brings warmth, humor, energy, and enthusiasm to the job, making rehearsals both challenging and fun. Claudia's love of choral music for women and her appreciation for music written by women composers makes her an excellent fit for the WSO mission, and her technical expertise continues to inspire us to become better musicians. Claudia has degrees in music education and choral conducting from Boston University and Westminster Choir College, and she is the conductor for the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District chorus. She has also been a volunteer conductor at the women's prison in Framingham for the past five years. It is our great privilege to follow Claudia's baton through our rehearsals and concerts, but it is also our privilege to call this remarkable woman our friend!
